Tomorrow we park our two-wheel drive campervan here in Wanaka to leave the road. We are going out on adventure off road. We have booked a half day with Ridgeline Adventures. We’ll be going on what they call a ”Wild Hills 4WD Scenic Farm Safari”.
We will ride in a four-wheel drive up into Wanaka’s steep mountains, in addition to amazing views of the mountains and the lakes, we will get behind the scenes of a genuine New Zealand high country farm where we get to see sheep, cattle, red deer and alpaca up close and in their natural environment.
It will be a day full of incredible views, but also animals and history. We cross our fingers that the weather’s good!
